This position reports to:
Supervisor (Shipping) __ In Albuquerque we manufacture underground cable connections and accessories for the electrical distribution grid as well as fault circuit indicators and current sensors. Our industry leading Elastimold and Fisher Pierce products are used to connect, ground, splice, terminate, and protect underground power cables. Products manufactured in Albuquerque are integral connective pieces of a resilient power grid. Your role and responsibilities You will be mainly accountable for: Coordinates with the storekeeper and receiving supervisor to ensure accuracy and completeness of counts. Performs whatever recounts and adjustments are necessary, reports cycle count in computer system and prints out daily reports. Performs random count of various inventoried items. Counts finished goods items at various intervals by hand or counting scales. Compares actual physical counts against book inventory and recounts those items that are out of tolerance. Investigates nature and cause of the discrepancy, recommends changes and prepares inventory adjustments. After approval of adjustments, make entries into LX system. Compares actual location of stock with locations and makes necessary corrections. Reports adjustments to Controller.
