Automotive Inventory Specialist - Newburgh, NY Sweetie Boy Transportation, established in 2010, is a full solution Automobile Transportation and Logistics company. An Automotive Inventory Specialist, or Car Coordinator, is a key member of our Sweetie Boy Delivers division. You will be assisting in our daily operations by supporting our locations with inventory control, lot maintenance, and organization for our inbound and outbound drivers.
Duties:
Inventory control Complete daily OTM Key Audit Shipping and receiving load orders Email correspondence Manage spreadsheets and multi-platform communication. Lot maintenance Staging cars for drivers Guarding assets (Keys & Vehicles) Inspect vehicles for damage
Requirements:
Possession of a valid driver's license that has been maintained for the past 5 years with a clean driving record (DMV record will be checked) Must pass a drug test. Physically able to navigate in large parking lots in addition to ascending and descending stairs Familiarity with office equipment and strong computer skills Knowledge of programs in Microsoft Suite or Google Suite Need to be well organized and detailed oriented with upholding a strong leadership mentality to drive results Needs good communication skills to report damages, late vehicles, driver needs and safety concerns, etc. Be able to walk up to 20K steps per day Be able to be outside in all weather conditions Be able to lift 50+ lbs Must wear safety vest at all times on company and customer property Must be able to inspect all aspects of vehicles driven for damages/VINS, which involves bending, kneeling and stooping on occasion
Self Motivated and Self Disciplined Schedule:
Full Time, 40-hour work week. Tuesday-Thursday 10:30am-7:00pm Friday 9:00am-7:00pm Saturday 8:00am-4:00pm
Compensation :
$20.00/hr with Weekly Pay w/ Direct Deposit.
