Are you organized, detail-oriented, comfortable with technology, and someone who takes pride in getting things right? Rowham Hellman Retail Group is looking for a Retail Operations & Inventory Specialist to join our growing team. This is a hands-on role responsible for ensuring that merchandise moves accurately and efficiently from receiving to inventory, from inventory to our retail environments, and ultimately into the hands of our customers. You will work with luxury clothing and accessories, learn our inventory and point-of-sale systems, support e-commerce fulfillment, assist with inter-store transfers and deliveries, and work closely with our sales and management teams. The ideal candidate is organized, dependable, technologically comfortable, physically capable, and detail-oriented , with the professionalism to represent Rowham Hellman when working in our luxury retail environments. What You'll DoReceiving & Inventory Receive and unload incoming merchandise and inspect shipments for shortages, damage, or discrepancies. Compare packing slips and bills of lading against purchase orders to ensure accuracy. Accurately enter merchandise into our point-of-sale and inventory systems. Identify and process merchandise using SKUs, style numbers, color codes, sizes, and other product identifiers. Ticket, label, organize, and prepare merchandise for the sales floor. Maintain accurate inventory records and help identify discrepancies or inventory issues. Assist with inventory organization and movement throughout the business. Retail Operations & Logistics Coordinate the movement of merchandise between our retail environments and other company locations as needed. Work closely with sales teams to ensure merchandise is properly received, organized, and ready for customers. Assist with showroom organization and merchandise presentation when needed. Make local deliveries and transfers using a company vehicle when assigned. Ensure merchandise is handled, transported, and stored with the care expected of a luxury retailer. E-Commerce Fulfillment Accurately fulfill online orders by locating, identifying, inspecting, and preparing merchandise for shipment. Develop a strong understanding of our inventory and product assortment. Use SKU, style, color, and size information to accurately match customer orders to available merchandise. Assist with packing and shipping orders while maintaining the high standards of presentation expected by our customers. Help identify inventory issues that could affect e-commerce fulfillment and communicate them promptly. What We're Looking For The ideal candidate is someone who takes ownership, pays attention to details, and gets satisfaction from making sure things are done correctly.
You should be:
Highly organized and detail-oriented , with the ability to accurately manage product information and inventory. Technologically comfortable , with the ability to learn and confidently use point-of-sale, inventory, and other business systems. Reliable and accountable , with strong follow-through and a willingness to take ownership of responsibilities. Physically capable , including the ability to lift and carry boxes and merchandise weighing up to approximately 50 pounds and spend extended periods standing, walking, bending, and moving merchandise. Professional and presentable , with the ability to interact appropriately with customers and represent the company in our luxury retail environments. A team player , comfortable working with sales associates, managers, tailors, and other members of our organization. Adaptable and willing to learn , with an interest in taking on increasing responsibility as the company grows. Comfortable working independently and managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced retail environment. Previous experience in retail operations, inventory management, receiving, logistics, e-commerce fulfillment, warehouse operations, or a similar role is helpful but not required. We are willing to train the right person. Additional Requirements Because this position may involve local transportation of merchandise: Valid driver's license required. Must maintain a clean driving record. Must be comfortable operating a company vehicle when needed. Must be able to successfully complete the company's pre-employment screening requirements. Compensation & Schedule Compensation:
$22.00-$25.00 per hour, depending on experience

Monday-Friday, 10:00 AM-6:00
