Type:

full-time Solomon Page is partnering with a leading beauty and consumer products company to hire an Inventory Planning Specialist to join their operations team in Columbus, Ohio . This role will support supply chain planning, inventory management, forecasting, vendor partnerships, and new product launches to ensure products are delivered on time and inventory targets are met.

Columbus, OH (Remote with occasional onsite days)

$35/hour

Responsibilities:

Manage inventory, purchasing, and production planning to support product availability. Partner with vendors and manufacturing teams on supply planning, capacity management, and on-time delivery. Support forecasting, S&OP activities, and new product launch execution. Monitor inventory performance, identify risks, and drive process improvements. Maintain planning data and reporting in SAP while collaborating cross-functionally to resolve supply chain challenges.

Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Business, Operations, or a related field. 3-5 years of experience in supply chain, inventory management, production planning, or related operations. Strong experience with purchase orders, inventory planning, and vendor management. Knowledge of forecasting, supply planning, and inventory control processes. Advanced Excel skills; SAP experience preferred. Strong analytical, communication, and project management skills. Experience in consumer products, retail, or manufacturing environments is a plus.
