JOB SUMMARY
Oversee the coordinating of information and processes for the Tool Crib for supplies and Maintenance tracking software to ensure the departments have access to well-maintained tools, equipment, and consumables.
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS
Managing Tool Crib/CMMS software to reflect current state of shifting manufacturing inventories. Tool Crib support, such as issuing parts and consumables, and recording in the Tool Crib/CMMS software. Allocating specific tools, equipment, and consumables to various employees and departments. Receiving new tools, equipment, and consumables and inputting them into the Tool Crib/CMMS software. Issuing Maintenance Work Orders by inputting requests into CMMS software. Updating Tool Crib/CMMS software to reflect any work performed. Update required documentation for other departments as needed. Work with Maintenance & Supply for equipment and scheduling services. Ensure Certificate of Insurance is up-to-date for active service vendors, in compliance with Safety Department. Provide the Safety Department with necessary documentation to approve vendor visits. Assisting Maintenance Department to create a maintenance schedule for equipment. Work with vendors to gather quotes for purchasing supplies. Generating and processing Purchasing Material Requisitions for vendors, equipment, and components. Work with the Purchasing department and vendor on purchase requests. Work with the Receiving department for confirmation and inspection of purchased items upon delivery. Communicating with various departments and outside vendors via phone and email. Confirming requisitions and invoices submitted to ensure payment has been processed. Organizing physical locations for stocked items. Processing all relevant paperwork, including scanning, filing, emailing, etc. Communicating interdepartmental updates for scheduling of Maintenance tasks. Provide regular status updates on open Maintenance Work Orders based on priority level. Assist in the documentation for service of outside vendors. Assist with sales and service of uniforms for employees Operating company vehicles, forklifts, and golf cars to complete various tasks. Using ladders to access any hard to reach areas or stocked items. Observing and following all safety rules, and attending safety trainings as necessary. Employee may be required to work more or less than 40 hours/week as part of their regular schedule based on production needs.
SKILLS REQUIRED
Ability to learn and manage new database software. Ability to use computers and a company email account. Must have customer service skills for communication and documentation. Ability to communicate effectively with outside vendors. Ability to operate company smart phone and write and respond to text messages. Ability to coordinate information between the Maintenance & Supply, and other departments. Ability to operate CMMS (Computerized Maintenance Management System). Knowledge of SQL (Structured Query Language) is a plus. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Ability to follow both verbal and written instructions. Ability to proficiently use Microsoft Outlook. Ability to use Microsoft Word and Excel is a plus. Ability to pay close attention to detail and catch paperwork errors. Basic knowledge of tools and supplies. Previous experience handling inventory, tools, equipment, and supplies is a plus. Ability to travel between multiple buildings in various weather conditions is required. Ability to drive a company vehicle is required. Ability to operate a golf car is preferred. Ability to operate a forklift is a plus. Must have a current valid Driver's License. Must be able to wear appropriate Personal Protective Equipment such as safety shoes, hearing protection, and safety glasses.
