Job Description
Asset Inventory Technician TEKsystems $18.00

- Onsite Description 90-day contract opportunity focused on hardware asset management and e-recycling
- this will be 100% onsite. Potential for the role to expand beyond the initial engagement. Key Responsibilities
- Process and track approximately 600 devices.

- Document and inventory devices, especially assets containing PHI.
- Maintain accurate records in ServiceNow and Excel. Required Skills

- Experience using or willingness to learn ServiceNow.
- Hardware handling experience (PCs, laptops, IT equipment).
- Strong attention to detail and inventory tracking abilities.
- Ability to perform hands-on physical work throughout the day. Additional Skills & Qualifications
- Experience with IT asset disposition (ITAD), hardware refresh, asset recovery, or electronic recycling processes.
- Understanding of data security best practices related to device decommissioning and disposal.
- Experience scanning, tagging, labeling, and tracking assets in inventory management systems.
- Ability to lift and move IT equipment (up to 40-50 lbs.) and stand/walk for extended periods.
- Strong organizational and time management skills with the ability to maintain accuracy while handling high volumes of assets.
- Familiarity with asset lifecycle management concepts.
- Experience working in regulated environments (healthcare, financial services, government, etc.) is a plus.
- Basic knowledge of PC hardware components, including hard drives, SSDs, memory modules, desktops, laptops, monitors, and peripherals. Ideal Candidate Profile

- Hardware deployment, desktop support, or asset management background.
- Reliable, trustworthy, and able to follow PHI/data-handling procedures since they'll be managing hard drives and other devices that may store sensitive information. Logistics
