Job Description
Central Supply Clerk Overview Pawtucket Falls Healthcare Center is seeking a reliable and organized Central Supply Clerk to join our team at a skilled nursing facility. The Central Supply Clerk is responsible for maintaining adequate inventory levels, distributing supplies throughout the facility, and ensuring all departments have the necessary materials to provide quality resident care. Responsibilities Maintain and organize the central supply room Monitor inventory levels and reorder supplies as needed Receive, unpack, and stock incoming deliveries Distribute medical and non-medical supplies to various departments Track usage and maintain accurate records of inventory Ensure proper storage and labeling of supplies in compliance with regulations Work closely with nursing and department heads to anticipate supply needs Assist with monthly inventory counts and audits Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent required Previous experience in central supply, inventory, or healthcare setting preferred Strong organizational and time management skills Ability to lift and move supplies (up to 50 lbs) Basic computer skills Knowledge of infection control and safety standards is a plus
