Job Description
About the
Role:
We are looking for a reliable and organized Inventory Assistant to help support our auction operations. This role is hands-on and fast-paced, focused on preparing, organizing, and managing inventory before, during, and after auctions.Responsibilities:
- Pull and prepare items for upcoming auctions based on schedule.
- Organize and group items by category, size, or type for easy presentation.
- Apply stickers or labels to items as they are sold during auctions.
- Maintain a clean and orderly inventory space, ensuring items are easy to find.
- Assist with restocking and keeping accurate counts of inventory.
- Work closely with the auction host to ensure items are ready to sell on time.
Requirements:
- Strong attention to detail and organization skills.
- Ability to work quickly and efficiently in a live selling environment.
- Reliable and dependable with good communication skills.
- Able to lift and move 50lb boxes.
- Must be able to upload a minimum of 200 items a day.
- Previous experience with inventory, retail, or warehouse work is a plus but not required.
