  • Part-time Overview Join our dynamic healthcare team as a Medical Supply Resource Technician, where you will play a vital role in ensuring the seamless management and distribution of medical supplies within our ambulatory surgery center.
This energetic position offers the opportunity to contribute directly to patient care by maintaining accurate inventory levels, preparing sterile supplies, and supporting clinical staff with essential materials. Responsibilities Manage inventory levels by accurately tracking supplies, restocking stockrooms, and organizing storage areas to ensure availability of essential items. Assist clinical staff by retrieving, delivering, and distributing medical equipment and supplies throughout the facility efficiently. Monitor inventory levels and communicate needs for supplies in a timely manner to ensure stock levels remain adequate. Maintain a clean and organized storage area for medical supplies. Skills Strong understanding of inventory management principles to optimize stock levels and reduce waste. Knowledge of physiology and anatomy to accurately identify and prepare necessary supplies for diverse medical procedures. Familiarity with medical terminology to communicate effectively with healthcare professionals. Ability to organize, prioritize, and manage multiple tasks efficiently in a high-pressure setting. Basic computer skills. Excellent attention to detail to ensure accuracy in recordkeeping, supply handling, and compliance with safety standards. Physical requirements include:
Full range of body motion, including handling and lifting up to 50 pounds, manual and finger dexterity, and eye-hand coordination. Requires vision and hearing corrected within normal range. Requires standing and walking for extensive periods of times to store, retrieve, and deliver supplies.
