Job Description

Job Overview We are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Inventory Specialist / Night Shift Supervisor to lead our overnight warehouse operations. This pivotal role combines inventory management expertise with supervisory responsibilities, ensuring seamless stock control, efficient order fulfillment, and optimal warehouse performance during the night shift. As a key player in our supply chain, you will oversee inventory accuracy, and implement process improvements to elevate operational excellence. This position offers an exciting opportunity to influence supply chain efficiency while working in a fast-paced, energetic environment dedicated to continuous improvement. Responsibilities Supervise nightly warehouse activities, including receiving, shipping, and inventory control, ensuring all processes adhere to safety and quality standards. Oversee inventory management Conduct root cause analysis on inventory discrepancies or process inefficiencies to develop targeted solutions that improve accuracy and productivity. Manage materials handling activities including stand up forklift operations, heavy lifting, shipping & receiving, and materials management in compliance with safety regulations. Maintain detailed records of inventory transactions, cycle counts, audits, and compliance documentation for audit readiness. Foster a motivated team environment by providing coaching, training on warehouse management systems (WMS), forklift operation certification updates, and safety protocols. Requirements Proven experience in warehouse distribution, inventory control, or supply chain management within a fast-paced environment. Strong knowledge of warehouse management systems (WMS). Demonstrated ability in data mining, analysis skills, root cause analysis, and process improvement methodologies. Hands-on experience with materials handling equipment such as stand up forklifts; certification preferred. Excellent organizational skills with the ability to analyze complex data sets using SQL or similar tools for supply chain analytics. Ability to lead a team during night shifts with strong communication skills and a proactive approach to problem-solving. Physical capability for heavy lifting and materials handling required during warehouse operations.
Pay:
$20.00 - $24.00 per hour
