Full Job Description Responsibilities and Duties:

K&H Truckweld is seeking an Inventory Specialist/Warehouse Driver to oversee all activities related to receiving, storing, and distributing materials, equipment, merchandise, supplies and products. Will also be responsible for DFW-area pick-up and delivery of parts and supplies using company truck and 24 ft. length flat-bed trailer.

Experience Required:

Adequate driving record to operate shop truck as necessary. Experience pulling a 24 ft. trailer is a plus. Minimum age 21 and valid drivers license w/satisfactory driving history required per insurance policy. Forklift experience (stand-up and sit-down) with 2+ years background in a warehouse/inventory setting is a must. Experience bringing in oversize (up to 40 ft. length ex. 25 ft. length) materials into shop safely. Warehouse background with metal supplier or Class-A truck parts supplier is a plus. Position requires a safety-minded team player with initiative, excellent time management skills and ability to prioritize tasks. Must be extremely organized and able to quickly learn shop part numbers and intricate inventory system. Successful candidate must demonstrate good communication skills with both co-workers and supervisors. Candidate must be able to lift 50 lbs. throughout daily 8-hour shift in warehouse work environment (not climate controlled). Background in ERP/MRP systems is highly desirable. Quick/fast learner with competency in Microsoft Word and Excel plus ability to conduct cycle counts essential. Successful candidate will work with Purchasing Department and Production Team to assist in shipment and receiving of goods plus processing of requisition sheets as needed.
