Job Description

Position Summary The Inventory Specialist plays a key role in maintaining the integrity of material transactions across the production floor and enterprise systems. Utilizing Infor Syteline and Prophecy, this position ensures real-time alignment between physical inventory movement and system records. The role requires proactive collaboration with production teams to support accurate inventory management and continuous process improvement.
Key Responsibilities Material Transactions:
Execute accurate and timely material issues in Prophecy and Infor Syteline, ensuring alignment with actual production usage.
System Accuracy:
Monitor and reconcile discrepancies between physical inventory and system data; initiate corrective actions as needed.
Cross-Functional Coordination:
Liaise daily with the HPL Layup Manager, machine operators, and production coordinators to address material requirements and resolve transactional issues.
Issue Resolution:
Investigate and resolve inventory challenges, including delayed purchase orders, material shortages, and substitutions; coordinate with Purchasing, Engineering, and Production to implement effective solutions.
Process Optimization:
Support the maintenance of accurate BOMs and inventory locations; contribute to ongoing process improvement initiatives to enhance inventory accuracy and operational efficiency. Qualifications Bilingual in Spanish and English required Exceptional attention to detail with a strong focus on data integrity Effective communicator with the ability to collaborate across departments Proficient in the use of ERP systems (Infor Syteline, Prophecy) and mobile technology Strong understanding of production workflows and material movement on the shop floor
