  • is responsible for ensuring inventory accuracy, maintaining processing standards, and supporting the daily operations of the Inventory Processing team.

In addition to performing inventory processing duties, the Coordinator provides day-to-day guidance to Inventory Processors, helps prioritize workload, identifies process improvement opportunities, and supports training and quality control efforts. This position supports Freeman's Audio Visual and Event Technology teams and follows an in-person schedule based out of Dallas, TX.

  • Essential Duties & Responsibilities
  • + Coordinates daily inventory processing activities to support business priorities and operational deadlines.

+ Provides day-to-day guidance and workflow direction to Inventory Processors.

+ Monitors work quality and inventory accuracy to ensure compliance with established procedures and standards.

+ Assists with onboarding and training of new Inventory Processors.

+ Serves as a resource for inventory processing questions, procedures, and best practices.

+ Processes new inventory following established procedures, including verification of equipment specifications, serial numbers, and asset information.

+ Reviews inventory records and processing documentation for accuracy and completeness prior to asset deployment.

+ Creates and maintains processing instructions, workflow documentation, and standard operating procedures.

+ Coordinates the preparation, assembly, packaging, casing, labeling, and distribution of equipment.

+ Assists in identifying inventory discrepancies, process gaps, and operational issues while helping implement corrective actions.

+ Partners with Procurement, Warehouse Operations, and Asset Management teams to prioritize incoming equipment and manage processing workloads.

+ Tracks inventory processing progress and provides status updates to leadership as needed.

+ Helps maintain consistency in barcode placement, equipment labeling, case stenciling, and inventory documentation.

+ Supports shipping preparation activities, including palletization, securing shipments, and branch distribution coordination.

+ Maintains organized and safe work areas, processing spaces, and inventory storage locations.

+ Assists with inventory audits, cycle counts, and asset verification activities.

+ Identifies opportunities to improve efficiency, quality, safety, and standardization across inventory processing operations.

+ Supports special projects and cross-functional initiatives as assigned.

  • Education & Experience
  • + High School Diploma or equivalent required.

+ Associate degree or relevant technical training preferred. + 3+ years of inventory, warehouse, logistics, asset management, or audiovisual equipment experience required.

+ Previous experience serving as a lead, trainer, coordinator, or informal team leader preferred.

+ Experience with inventory processing, asset tracking, or equipment management systems preferred.
