Job Description

Description A well-established plumbing and HVAC supply distributor is hiring a full-time Inventory Operator. This is a direct-hire opportunity placed by Hire Right Recruiting. This role goes beyond stocking shelves. You will manage inventory at a customer's facility, keep technicians stocked and operational, and solve problems before they become disruptions. The right person takes ownership, notices details others miss, and is comfortable working independently without waiting to be told what needs attention. Key Responsibilities Maintain accurate inventory levels at assigned locations Replenish and organize plumbing, HVAC, and related materials Monitor usage trends and identify shortages before they become problems Maintain strong service levels and inventory accuracy Work professionally with on-site technicians and keep them stocked and operational Coordinate with warehouse, delivery, purchasing, and sales teams Keep work areas clean, safe, and professionally organized Identify opportunities for operational improvement and efficiency Operate independently while managing daily priorities Represent the company professionally at all times Skills, Knowledge and Expertise Strong work ethic and self-motivation: you don't wait to be told what needs attention Clear communicator who works well with technicians and internal teams Organized, detail-oriented, and accountable Ability to work independently and manage your own daily priorities Basic computer and inventory system knowledge Ability to lift and move material throughout the day Background in plumbing, HVAC, warehouse, construction, or inventory preferred Benefits Stable, growing company with a strong reputation in the industry Opportunity for advancement Independent, hands-on role with real ownership of your work Collaborative team that values your contributions Direct impact on customer success and operational performance About Hire Right Recruiting At Hire Right LLC , we partner with skilled trades and service businesses to build teams that last.
