Job Description

Inventory Assistant Position Summary The Inventory Assistant supports the Inventory Department by assisting with vehicle inventory organization, data entry, stock verification, record maintenance, and other administrative tasks. This position plays an important role in maintaining accurate inventory records and ensuring efficient inventory operations. Key Responsibilities  Assist with vehicle inventory counts, audits, and reconciliations.  Verify vehicle information, stock numbers, and inventory records for accuracy.  Maintain inventory spreadsheets, databases, and tracking systems.  Coordinate with Sales and Management regarding inventory updates and corrections.  Organize and maintain vehicle inventory documentation and files.  Support month-end inventory reporting and record verification.  Identify and report inventory discrepancies to management.  Perform other inventory-related duties as assigned. Qualifications  Strong attention to detail and accuracy.  Basic computer skills, including proficiency with spreadsheets and data entry.  Ability to work independently and as part of a team.  Strong organizational and communication skills.  Reliable attendance and a professional work ethic.  Must possess a valid driver's license and maintain an acceptable driving record.  Prior automotive inventory or administrative experience preferred but not required. Physical Requirements  Ability to walk the dealership lot regularly.  Ability to stand and move for extended periods.  Ability to lift and carry light office materials and documents as needed.  Ability to work indoors and outdoors in varying weather conditions.
