Job Description
The Supply Chain Technician
- OR is responsible for ordering, receiving storage and distribution of all supplies in the Operating Room.
Perform inventory management such as:
expiration dates, rotating stock, cycle, and inventory counts. Inspect items to ensure they are not damaged or expired before stocking. Confirm delivery dates, identifies issues and resolutions to supervisor. Assist with procedure cart build and replenishment. Maintain supply carts to ensure supplies are organized and neatly stocked in the correction location and quantity. Train all new supply chain technicians as appropriate. Handle all urgent and emergent supply situations. Assist in resolving back-order problems with prime vendors and the Purchasing Department. Ensure responsibility and visible commitment of diversity equity and inclusion programs/initiatives through collaboration and implementation of initiatives across the health Patient Population Not applicable to this position.Employment Qualifications Required Education:

Previous healthcare supply chain experience preferred. Working Conditions Periods of high stress and fluctuating workloads may occur. May have periods of constant interruptions. This role does not involve direct patient care; however, it is important to acknowledge the potential to encounter severely injured patients within the hospital environment.
