Join Us at Talgo Talgo Inc. refurbishes passenger railcars for LA MetroLink at our Milwaukee facility, focusing on high quality mechanical and structural work to extend the service life of the railcars for another 30 years. We are seeking an organized and detail-oriented Inventory Control Specialist to manage inventory accuracy, support production operations, and ensure inventory integrity. Career Growth What You'll Do:
Maintain accurate inventory records by tracking receipts, transfers, adjustments, and shipments Ensure materials are available to support production schedules and workstation needs Monitor and coordinate material flow throughout the manufacturing process Investigate inventory discrepancies, perform root cause analysis, and implement corrective actions Ensure compliance with company safety standards and inventory control procedures Process inventory transactions in SAP and maintain accurate inventory data
What We're Looking For:
High School Diploma or GED equivalent 2+ years of inventory control, warehouse, shipping/receiving, or supply chain experience in an industrial setting Experience with ERP systems (SAP strongly preferred) Strong attention to detail and problem-solving abilities Forklift experience preferred Valid Driver License required
Physical and Other Requirements:
Must be able to pass a pre-employment drug test Frequently required to stand, walk, kneel and stoop Occasionally required to climb and operate a sit-down forklift Ability to lift and move up to 50 pounds Ready to Build Your Future with Us?
