This position serves as an entry-level role designed to develop the skills necessary to advance within the company. Crew Members are expected to work safely, follow instructions, maintain a positive attitude, and contribute to the overall success of each project while ensuring quality workmanship and customer satisfaction. Essential Duties & ResponsibilitiesGeneral Labor Assist with parking lot striping and pavement marking operations. Assist with seal coating preparation and application. Load and unload tools, equipment, materials, and supplies. Assist with wheel stop, bollard, sign, and post installations. Perform jobsite cleanup before, during, and after work activities. Move materials and equipment as directed by supervisors. Maintain clean and organized work trucks and trailers. Assist with setting up and removing traffic control devices. Equipment & Materials Safely handle paint, seal coat materials, signs, wheel stops, and related equipment. Assist with cleaning and maintaining tools and equipment. Report damaged equipment or material shortages immediately. Help track and organize materials used on projects. Safety Responsibilities Follow all company safety policies and procedures. Wear required PPE at all times. Attend safety meetings, toolbox talks, and training sessions. Immediately report hazards, injuries, near misses, or unsafe conditions. Exercise Stop Work Authority when unsafe conditions are observed. Follow all Cal/OSHA and company safety requirements. Teamwork & Professionalism Follow directions from supervisors and crew leaders. Arrive on time and prepared for work each day. Maintain a positive attitude and strong work ethic. Treat coworkers, customers, and the public respectfully. Represent the company professionally at all times. QualificationsRequired Ability to perform physically demanding work. Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds regularly. Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions. Reliable transportation to and from work. Ability to follow verbal and written instructions. Ability to work days, nights, weekends, and overtime as required. Preferred Construction or labor experience. Parking lot maintenance experience. Experience working around traffic and active jobsites. Basic knowledge of hand tools and construction equipment. Physical Requirements This position regularly requires: Standing for extended periods. Walking long distances on jobsites. Bending, kneeling, squatting, and climbing. Lifting, carrying, pushing, and pulling materials and equipment. Working around moving vehicles and equipment. Working in outdoor environments including heat, cold, wind, and rain. Performance Expectations Crew Members are expected to: Maintain a strong safety record.
