Compensation $28.00/hr Responsibilities Conduct daily pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections Load material at aggregate plants and safely transport it to other plants or job sites Clean vehicle, including the spraying down of trailers when needed Report any necessary maintenance or adjustments that may be required Tarp loads when needed to protect product being hauled Must be able to work a flexible schedule with flexible hours; overtime may be required Ability to travel to various work locations based on work availability and customer demand Can be exposed to extremes of hot and cold weather Education High school diploma or GED Requirements/Qualifications Class A commercial driver's license with a doubles endorsement Safe driving record - No more than two moving violations within the past 24 months; No serious moving violations within the past 36 months Positive attitude and strong work ethic Strong customer service skills
Preferred:
Experience in aggregate or heavy construction industries 2+ years of commercial driving experience Conditions of Employment Successful candidate must submit to post-offer pre-employment physical examination, drug/alcohol screen, and background check. Some positions require FMCSA regulated on-going drug and alcohol testing.
