In this dynamic role, you will be an essential part of our production process, supporting various operational tasks to ensure smooth and efficient manufacturing workflows. This position offers an exciting opportunity to develop hands-on skills, contribute to process improvements, and work within a safety-focused environment that values teamwork and technical proficiency. Duties Assist with heavy lifting and manual handling of materials and components to support production needs Operate power tools and hand tools safely for mechanical assembly and equipment maintenance Use measuring instruments and interpret technical drawings to ensure precise assembly and quality standards Manage the use of forklifts and other machinery in accordance with safety protocols to move materials efficiently Follow manufacturing management procedures, including adhering to safety standards in production and lean manufacturing principles Support process improvement initiatives by identifying inefficiencies and suggesting solutions Collaborate with team members on assembly line tasks, ensuring timely completion of production goals Requirements Prior experience in a factory or manufacturing facility preferred, with familiarity in mechanical assembly and use of hand tools Demonstrated ability to interpret technical drawings and use measuring instruments accurately Knowledge of safety standards in production environments, including safe manual handling practices and forklift operation certification is a plus Mechanical knowledge or experience with manufacturing equipment is highly desirable Ability to perform heavy lifting consistently while maintaining safety protocol adherence Strong communication skills for interpreting production documents and collaborating effectively with team members A proactive attitude towards process improvement and maintaining high safety standards in all tasks
Pay:
$15.00 - $18.00 per hour
