It will be your job to consistently exceed customer expectations by making sure all orders are delivered with a smile, on time, safely, and to the right address. A company has partnered with local Delivery Service Partners (DSPs), which are independent delivery organizations responsible for delivering thousands of packages to customers each day. As an employee of a Delivery Service Partner (DSP), you will be directly employed by the DSP (Horizon Delivery Squad) operating from a local distribution station.

Delivery Driver Associate Responsibilities:

Successfully handle and deliver packages on time (350 to 500 /day). Work closely with the experienced driver and help scan and deliver all packages to our customers preferred locations. You can expect to work about 4-5 days per week and up to 12 hours per day (routes are mapped for 10 hours). Load and unload packages in a delivery vehicle. Provide excellent customer service and satisfaction despite stressful events / conditions. Keep pace in a physically demanding job; work in all weather conditions; lift packages (up to 50 lbs.); get in and out of a van repeatedly throughout the day at variable locations (walking upstairs and through driveways). Communicate effectively with the support team to provide exceptional customer service and ensure deliveries are completed. Use smartphone devices for GPS Navigation, scanning packages, conducting administrative requirements such as clocking in/out, and to communicate professionally with supervisors and other team members. We provide on-the-job training so that all of our team members feel confident on the road and the doorsteps of customers. Health and safety are always a top priority. Must be 18 years or older with the ability to read and speak English. Must be fit to get on and off the van and carry packages up to 50 pounds. Must have at Minimum a valid State ID or Passport. Able to get in and out of van and walk up and down stairs through your shift Successfully pass a pre-employment drug test, not including marijuana Must accept text messages from Company managers and other authorized Company employees regarding your schedule, performance, and other Company matters on your personal cell phone
