This energetic position offers the opportunity to work outdoors in various environments, utilizing your growing experience and horticulture knowledge to support tree trimming, pruning, and land management projects. You'll be an essential part of creating safe, aesthetically pleasing outdoor spaces while gaining hands-on experience with industry-standard equipment and techniques. Duties Assist with tree care activities including trimming, pruning, and removal to promote healthy growth and safety. Operate bucket trucks and bucket lifts safely to access elevated areas of trees and landscapes. Conduct landscape maintenance tasks such as lawn care, planting, mulching, and general landscaping to enhance outdoor aesthetics. Perform routine equipment checks and maintenance on tools like chainsaws, trimmers, and other landscaping machinery. Follow safety protocols diligently during all operations to ensure a secure working environment for yourself and team members. Experience Prior experience or growing familiarity with tree care practices including trimming, pruning, and planting is preferred. Hands-on experience operating bucket trucks or bucket lifts is highly desirable. Knowledge of rigging techniques used in tree removal or pruning projects is a plus. Familiarity with landscaping tasks such as lawn care, landscape maintenance, and horticulture principles is advantageous. Demonstrated ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions with physical stamina.
