Job Overview Join our dynamic delivery team as a Driver Helper and be a vital part of ensuring smooth, efficient, and friendly delivery experiences. In this energetic role, you will assist our drivers in loading, unloading, and delivering packages to customers' homes and businesses. Your enthusiasm and commitment to excellent customer service will help us build lasting relationships with clients while supporting our drivers in route execution. This paid position offers a fantastic opportunity to gain hands-on experience in delivery operations, warehouse handling, and route driving. Duties Assist the driver with loading and unloading packages using heavy lifting techniques and equipment such as pallet jacks or forklifts when necessary Support the driver in navigating routes efficiently, ensuring timely deliveries to residential and commercial locations Help carry packages safely into customers' homes or businesses, providing excellent customer service throughout the process Verify delivery details, obtain signatures when required, and document delivery activities accurately Maintain safety standards by adhering to traffic laws, safe lifting practices, and warehouse protocols during package handling Communicate effectively with the driver regarding route changes or delivery issues Support the driver in preparing trucks for daily routes by organizing loads and ensuring all items are secured properly Skills Strong customer service skills with a friendly, professional attitude Previous warehouse experience or familiarity with loading/unloading procedures Experience operating box trucks or similar commercial vehicles with manual transmission Knowledge of route driving, load & unload procedures, and delivery driver responsibilities Ability to perform heavy lifting and moving tasks safely and efficiently Experience using equipment such as forklifts or pallet jacks is a plus Excellent driving skills with a valid driver license or courier certification preferred Comfortable working in fast-paced environments with attention to detail and safety standards This role is perfect for motivated individuals eager to develop their driving, logistics, and customer service skills while contributing to a positive delivery experience.
