This position requires the ability to lift and move heavy objects and complete physically demanding tasks daily. The focus is on assisting with prepping, maintaining and the upkeep of the company's equipment and storage facility. Most of the workday is spent doing work and tasks outside. Emergency Support Services, LLC is a small, family-owned business headquartered in Phoenix, with multiple locations throughout the western states. As a company, we provide support services to government entities, primarily focusing on wild-land forest fire suppression efforts. Requirements:

Forklift Certified (or ability to obtain certification) Mechanically minded, familiar with the basic hand tools and basic repairs on equipment Reliable and dependable Comfortable working and completing tasks outdoors A current valid Driver License Be Safety minded and uphold Safety Standards at all times Follow processes and procedures - Must be teachable Maintain a positive outlook and be flexible with work times and duties

Shop Duties Include:

Ability to stand, climb, reach, bend, twist, lift heavy objects, push, & pull throughout complete shift Safely loading & unloading equipment, supplies & parts Clean, prep and maintain company equipment Use a forklift as required to load and unload equipment, supplies and parts Perform vehicle oil changes and make minor equipment repairs Strapping & securing loads based on best practices Keep equipment and supplies organized Promptly report maintenance and/or safety issues to management We are a Veteran-friendly workplace.
