Job Description

Mulch Production Job Overview We are seeking a motivated and safety‑focused Mulch Production Equipment Operator/Laborer to join our material‑processing team. In this role, you will operate machinery used to grind, process, and manufacture mulch products while maintaining a clean, efficient, and hazard‑free work environment. Duties Operate Mulch‑Processing Equipment — Run grinders, loaders, skid steers, and screening equipment used in mulch manufacturing. Material Handling — Load brush, logs, wood waste, and organic materials into grinders and conveyors. Quality Control — Monitor mulch color, consistency, moisture, and particle size to meet production standards. Routine Maintenance — Perform daily inspections, lubrication, and minor repairs to ensure equipment reliability. Safety Compliance — Follow all yard‑safety protocols, PPE requirements, and lock‑out/tag‑out procedures. Site Upkeep — Maintain a clean work area by removing debris, organizing materials, and ensuring safe traffic flow. Team Coordination — Work with other operators and laborers to meet daily production goals. Qualifications Proven experience operating heavy or medium‑duty equipment (loaders, skid steers, grinders, etc.) Mechanical aptitude for troubleshooting and basic repairs Ability to perform physically demanding outdoor work in all weather conditions Strong commitment to safety and attention to detail Join Our Team If you're eager to operate essential equipment, work outdoors, and help produce high‑quality mulch products, we'd be excited to have you on our production crew. Pay:
$22.00 - $26.00 per hour Expected hours: No less than 40.0 per week
