Job Description
Job Description We are seeking a dependable Shop Laborer to support production operations by cleaning, grinding, deburring, and handling metal parts used in food processing equipment. This role involves using hand and power tools, washing parts, and assisting with general shop duties in a clean manufacturing environment. Responsibilities Clean and wash metal parts to meet quality standards. Grind, polish, and debur parts using handheld grinders and sanders. Perform general shop labor and production support duties. Lift and move parts weighing up to 50 lbs. Handle and organize materials throughout the production floor. Follow safety procedures and maintain a clean work area. Essential Skills Deburring and grinding experience. Experience with hand tools and power tools. Ability to perform physical labor and lift up to 50 lbs. Strong attention to detail. Reliable attendance and work ethic. Additional Skills & Qualifications Manufacturing or shop experience preferred. Basic math and tape measure skills. Mechanical aptitude. Willingness to learn and grow within the company. Job Type & Location This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Frankfort, IL. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $20.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
