Description
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Include the following. Other duties may be assigned. Collects recyclable items as directed by manager Assists citizens with unloading recyclable materials Keeps Recycling Center clean and organized Collects all roadside litter as needed Sorts items and materials into designated bins Requirements
QUALIFICATIONS
High school education Valid driver's license Experienced in the operation of a forklift, baler and horizontal compactor.
PHYSICAL DEMANDS
While performing the duties of this job, the employee s required to regularly lift and/or move up to 25 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds. The employee must be able to traverse difficult terrain.
WORK ENVIRONMENT
While performing the duties employee is regularly exposed to outside weather conditions, frequently exposed to moving mechanical parts and is occasionally exposed to fumes or airborne particles and toxic or caustic chemicals. The noise level in the work environment is usually loud. Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions.
