We are seeking a reliable Delivery Driver and/ or Helper to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for transporting and assembling customer furniture in a safe and timely manner. Delivering at multiple locations daily. Unloading the correct product(s) at the delivery location. Furniture assembly at delivery. ## Responsibilities- Must have clean motor vehicle record (MVR).
- No tickets or accidents in the last 5 years.
- Safely operate a 26-foot box truck with a lift gate to customers' homes or offices, while complying with all traffic regulations.
Loading and Unloading:
You will be responsible for loading furniture and delivering safely to customers' homes or office spacesQuality Control:
Conduct quality control checks on delivered items to ensure they meet our standards.Customer Service:
Provide excellent customer service by ensuring timely and accurate deliveries.- Plan and follow the most efficient routes for delivery
- Communicate with customers in a professional manner during deliveries
- Perform routine vehicle maintenance checks ## Experience
- Legally Authorized to work in the US
- Must pass drug screening, background checks and MVR checks as a condition of employment.
- A valid state driver's license and clean driving record required.
- Proven experience as a 26' Straight Truck Operator, Route/ Delivery Driver or similar role
- Commercial driving experience is a plus
- Box truck delivery driving experience is a plus.
- Physically able and willing to move furniture indoors, outdoors, up or down stairs and in all weather conditions; ability to lift 100+ pounds with a partner
- Must be reliable and dependable
- Excellent communication skills
