Delivery Driver Helper

Duties Assist delivery drivers with loading, unloading, and securing packages in box trucks or other commercial vehicles. Help navigate route driving directions to ensure timely deliveries across designated areas. Perform heavy lifting and moving tasks, including handling large or bulky items with care and safety. Use equipment such as pallet jacks or forklifts (if certified) to load or unload shipments efficiently. Support the driver in verifying delivery addresses, collecting signatures, and documenting deliveries accurately. Maintain a clean and organized work environment at the warehouse and during delivery routes. Communicate effectively with customers, team members, and supervisors to ensure smooth operations throughout the day. Experience Prior experience in customer service or warehouse environments is highly desirable. Previous delivery driver experience or familiarity with route driving enhances your ability to succeed in this role. Hands-on experience operating box trucks or commercial vehicles with manual transmission is preferred. Knowledge of heavy lifting, moving large items, and using equipment like forklifts or pallet jacks is a plus. Strong physical stamina for manual labor tasks such as load & unload activities. Valid driver's license with a clean driving record; commercial driving certification is advantageous. Ability to follow safety protocols diligently while working in fast-paced settings.
