St. Francisville, LA Job Summary We are seeking a hardworking and reliable Utility Relief/Laborer to join our team. This position is responsible for performing a variety of general labor tasks, assisting with operational duties, and providing relief support across different departments as needed. The ideal candidate is flexible, safety-conscious, and willing to take on various responsibilities in a fast-paced environment. Key Responsibilities Perform general labor tasks, including cleaning, sweeping, shoveling, and material handling. Assist in the operation, maintenance, and troubleshooting of equipment and machinery. Provide relief support in different departments as needed. Load, unload, and transport materials, tools, and equipment safely. Follow all safety protocols and company guidelines to ensure a safe work environment. Operate hand and power tools as required. Support maintenance and production teams with various tasks. Perform inspections and report any hazards, damages, or maintenance needs. Maintain a clean and organized work area. Other duties as assigned by the supervisor or management. Qualifications & Skills High school diploma or GED preferred. Previous labor or utility work experience is a plus. Ability to lift, carry, and move heavy objects (up to 50 lbs). Comfortable working in outdoor and indoor environments, sometimes under extreme weather conditions. Strong work ethic, dependability, and willingness to learn. Basic mechanical aptitude is an advantage. Ability to follow instructions and work both independently and as part of a team. Strong attention to safety and detail. Work Conditions May involve exposure to loud noises, dust, and varying temperatures. Requires standing, walking, bending, and lifting for extended periods. Must be able to wear required personal protective equipment (PPE).
