Job Description

Town of Nantucket Department of Public Works Seasonal Laborer
ESSENTIAL DUTIES
The Department of Public Works seeks qualified candidates beginning immediately to fill a Seasonal Laborer position. Duties will include a variety of work including but not limited to roadside grass mowing, trash pick-up, brush cutting, painting, and other related seasonal maintenance activities.
QUALIFICATIONS
Must have a valid Massachusetts driver's license or the ability to obtain one prior to employment. Sufficient manual dexterity and physical ability to lift and carry objects weighing thirty (30) pounds or less may be required. Work may require outdoor labor in inclement weather.
Seasonal Position Hourly Rate:
$26.00 per hour
