Job Overview Join our dynamic team as a Driver Helper and be an essential part of delivering exceptional service! In this energetic role, you will assist our drivers in safely loading, unloading, and delivering high end furniture to various locations. Your positive attitude and strong work ethic will help ensure timely deliveries and satisfied customers. This paid position offers a fantastic opportunity to gain valuable experience in delivery operations while working in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment. Responsibilities Assist the driver with loading and unloading packages, ensuring proper handling of goods including heavy lifting and moving items safely. Support route driving by helping to organize and secure cargo in box trucks or similar vehicles. Help navigate delivery routes efficiently, following planned schedules and directions. Load and unload deliveries at customer locations or warehouses using equipment such as pallet jacks or forklifts when necessary. Provide excellent customer service by interacting professionally with clients during deliveries and pickups. Maintain safety standards by adhering to traffic laws, safety protocols, and company policies throughout all activities. Support the driver in completing delivery documentation accurately and efficiently. Requirements Prior experience in delivery driving, courier services, or warehouse operations is preferred. Valid driver's license with a clean driving record; experience with commercial driving or box trucks is a plus. Ability to perform heavy lifting and manual handling of packages regularly. Familiarity with route driving, load & unload procedures, and the use of equipment such as pallet jacks or forklifts. Strong customer service skills with a positive, professional attitude. Experience operating manual transmission vehicles is desirable but not mandatory. Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions and stand for extended periods during shifts.
