Primary Responsibilities:
Perform any combination of support duties listed below as instructed by supervisory personnel. Clean building floors by sweeping, mopping, scrubbing, or vacuuming. Gather and empty trash. Service, clean, and re-supply restrooms. Clean and polish furniture and fixtures. Clean windows, glass partitions, and mirrors, using soapy water or other cleaners, sponges, and squeegees. Dust furniture, walls, machines, and equipment. Steam-clean or shampoo carpets. Set up, arrange, and remove decorations, tables, chairs, ladders, and scaffolding to prepare facilities for events such as banquets and meetings. Move heavy furniture, equipment, and supplies, either manually or by using hand trucks. Maintain property exteriors. Operate lawn care equipment and snow removal equipment. Clear and clean debris from grounds and buildings. Remove snow from sidewalks, driveways, and parking areas, using snow shovels, and spread snow melting chemicals. Clean and restore building interiors damaged by fire, smoke, or water, using commercial cleaning equipment. Load and unload trucks. Any addition tasks as directed by supervisor.
Knowledge and Skill Requirements:
English proficiency Bilingual (Spanish) a plus
Organizational Relationship:
Reports to program manager.
Physical Requirement:
Ability to lift excess of 50lbs, bend, and stand for extended periods of time.
Working Conditions:
Inside and outside for extended periods regardless of weather conditions. Monday through
Friday:
8:00AM - 4:00PM. Includes a 30 minute unpaid lunch break. 37.5 Hours per week.
