Job Description

General Laborer Duties include loading, unloading, and moving materials by hand, organizing and securing cargo, preparing and maintaining work areas, and assisting other workers as needed. The position uses hand tools such as hammers, wrenches, screwdrivers, utility knives, straps, levels, and hand trucks. Work is performed at indoor and outdoor locations and involves standing, walking, lifting, carrying, bending, and kneeling throughout the workday. This temporary full-time position is from

metropolitan area Employer will use a single workweek as its standard for computing wages due. Worker will be paid weekly in U.S. currency. Employer will make all deductions from the worker's paycheck required by law. T will be NO additional deductions. The employer will reimburse the H-2B worker in the first work week for all visa, visa processing, border crossing, and other related fees, including those mandated by the government, incurred by the H-2B worker. The employer will provide the worker, without charge or deposit charge, with all tools, supplies, and equipment required to perform the duties assigned, in accordance with 20CFR 655.20(k). If the worker completes 50% of the work contract period, employer will either arrange and pay directly for transportation and subsistence, reimburse the worker for transportation and subsistence, or provide advance payment for transportation and subsistence from the place of recruitment to the place of work. Upon completion of the work contract or w the worker is dismissed earlier, employer will provide or pay for worker's reasonable costs of return transportation and subsistence back home or to the place the worker originally departed to work, except w the worker will not return due to subsequent employment with another employer. The amount of transportation payment or reimbursement will be equal to the most economical and reasonable common carrier for the distances involved. Daily subsistence will be provided at a rate of $16.28 per day during travel to a maximum of $68.00 per day with receipts.
