Job Description
Annapolis Yacht Services is seeking a hardworking, dependable Marine Yard Hand to join our growing team. We specialize in servicing catamarans and are looking for someone who enjoys working outdoors, takes pride in quality work, and thrives in a fast-paced marine environment. This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking to build a career in the marine industry while working alongside experienced technicians on some of the finest cruising catamarans on the Chesapeake Bay. Responsibilities Support marine technicians and the Service Manager with daily operations. Power wash boat hulls immediately following haul-outs. Prepare boats and work areas before service begins. Clean and organize job sites after work is completed. Maintain a clean, organized, and safe shop and yard. Perform exterior boat washes and detailing as scheduled. Move equipment, tools, and materials throughout the yard. Assist with launching, hauling, and staging vessels as directed. Help maintain company equipment and yard facilities. Follow all safety procedures and contribute to an efficient workflow. Qualifications Strong work ethic and positive attitude. Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions. Able to lift 50+ pounds and perform physically demanding work. Reliable transportation and punctual attendance. Comfortable working around boats, water, and heavy equipment. Ability to follow directions while also working independently. Attention to detail and commitment to keeping work areas clean and organized. Previous marine experience is a plus but not required—we are willing to train theright candidate. Preferred Experience Boat washing or detailing Pressure washing Marina or boatyard experience General labor or construction Experience around catamarans is a plus What We Offer Competitive hourly pay based on experience.
