Job Description

Laborer We are hiring a Laborer to perform a variety of tasks to include moving offices, equipment, furniture, andassisting with special events and associated tasks.

What you will support:

US Army Chemical and Biological CenterKey Responsibilities
  • Conduct various tasks to include manually moving stock, materials, loading, and unloadingequipment/furnishings; and the set up/break down of tables/chairs and ancillary related items.
  • Follow directions from the Contractor Supervisor and COR while working independently and as a team.
  • Communicate with the Contractor Supervisor, COR, and other personnel.
  • Operate a variety of trucks, forklifts, and tools to perform assigned daily tasks to deliver materials orequipment (i.e., Maryland Class A Trucks, Buses, etc.).
  • Pick up and deliver off-post materials and equipment within a 30-mile radius as directed.
  • Perform tool crib and supply room duties, tracking tools and supplies IAW Army Regulation (i.e., sign-outand sign-in).
  • Deliver excellent customer service both to internal and external customers while working collaboratively tobuild professional relationships (i.e., personnel, customers, etc.).
  • Identify safety concerns to the Contractor Supervisor and other required stakeholders (i.e., DOD, ARMY,OSHA, ANSI, etc.).
  • Handle and transport materials, equipment, and related items for offices, warehouses, and related specialevents.
  • Provide and assist with the required data to the Contractor Supervisor for a monthly report/tracking matrixof all related matters.
  • Ensure all administrative functions/paperwork are in order relative to receipt documentation
  • Ensure work orders, or internal paperwork, are accomplished on time and in the required format
  • Maintain a clean and safe worksite while performing or conducting job duties and be attentive to detail.
  • Support the mission, vision, values, and goals of the US ARMY.Required Experience
  • Minimum of (2) Years of Laborer/Moving Experience, High School Diploma/GED, and an active CLASS CDriver's License.
