Responsibilities Climb up and down railcar ladders while maintaining three points of contact Open and close railcar doors before and after loading Install and remove bridge plates (50 lbs) and maintain proper storage after use Clean out railcar debris using a blower as required Follow required AAR pre-trip procedures and Autoport safety guidelines Work safely at heights of up to 15 feet Benefits Unionized position (Teamsters Local 299) Excellent Health and Dental coverage, with low premiums Company contributions to pension plan, and access to a 401(k) plan Paid personal/sick days Paid vacation Annual boot and clothing allowances Steady work with overtime opportunities Qualifications and Requirements Ability to push, pull, or carry up to 50lbs Ability to stand, walk, climb, and work outdoors in all weather conditions Able to adhere to quality and safety standards Must be comfortable working at heights and in confined spaces. High School Diploma or equivalent Valid Driver's License with a satisfactory driving record
