Job Description

We are a growing company focused on recycling food processing waste and organic byproducts to help fight climate change and reduce landfilling.
Duties:
This opening is for a first shift Wednesday through Sunday position.
  • Operate a variety of equipment including forklifts, skid steers, pumps, and recycling equipment to recycle food waste. Candidate should be able to deal with the sight and smells of food waste on a daily basis.
  • Use hand and powered tools to perform duties as required.
  • Inspect and clean facilities and equipment.
  • Keep a clean and orderly work area.
  • Safely and efficiently operate equipment to complete assigned tasks.
  • Follow all safety protocols and guidelines while operating equipment.
  • Perform routine maintenance and inspections on equipment to ensure proper functioning.
  • The ability to perform physical work is required.
  • Collaborate with team members to coordinate work activities and ensure project deadlines are met. Computer knowledge of microsoft excel, word and email software is a plus Requirements
  • Previous experience operating equipment such as conveyors, trash compactors, pumps, power washers, and forklifts
  • Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
  • Strong knowledge of equipment operation and maintenance procedures
  • Ability to read and interpret diagrams related to equipment operation
  • Excellent hand-eye coordination and manual dexterity
  • Physical stamina and strength to perform tasks that may require heavy lifting or long periods of standing or sitting
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions accurately
  • Willingness to work in various weather conditions and environments.
