Backline Laborer

Vetter Stone is looking for a dedicated and enthusiastic individual to join our team. You will find this work challenging and rewarding as we strive to provide our customers with quality service and products.

Duties of the position include:

Ability to work with various hand tools Competent in working with jib and overhead crane to move stone and pallets Capable of maintaining equipment Ability to read job tickets of piece specifications, work items to complete and to check with patterns provided Quality conscious - double check work and look for stone imperfections to ensure we have the highest quality Excellent attendance required and must be willing to work well as a team to meet tight timelines Willing to follow safety guidelines Organized and must be able to read a tape measure Full time hours, 40 hours per week, 10 hour shift Shift flexibility when needed. Potential overtime hours are available depending on work volume.

10-hour shift 4x10 Day shift 5:30am-4pm 30 minute unpaid lunch: Two 15 minute paid breaks
