We are growing our team and hiring a Poop Scoop Technician. It comes down to 2 things we care about: serving people and keeping our community clean. This is simple, honest work that makes a real difference. You will visit clients' homes on a regular route, thoroughly clean their yards of pet waste, and leave every space better than you found it. It is active, outdoor work, and it is a great fit for someone who likes to stay busy, work independently, and take pride in a job well done.
What you will do:
Travel to clients' homes on an assigned route across Columbia Thoroughly scoop and remove pet waste from yards Keep gates secured and areas tidy (a loose gate can mean a loose dog, so this is crucial!) Communicate clearly with our team throughout the workday Represent Creature Comforts with friendliness and care
Schedule:
Routes run Monday through Friday during the day. This can be a strong fit if you are looking for steady daytime hours, whether that is around another job, retirement, or a flexible schedule.
What we are looking for:
A positive attitude, dependability, and a high level of integrity Comfortable working outdoors in all kinds of weather (rain, cold, hot, etc) Comfortable being around dogs of all sizes, since many yards have dogs present Strong attention to detail, because thoroughness is the whole job! A valid driver's license and a reliable, insured vehicle Must be at least 18 years of age Live in or near Columbia (within our service area is a plus)
Compensation:
All of our staff are employees (W-2), not independent contractors (1099). Pay starts at $15.50 per hour (plus tips), additional optional mileage reimbursement of $0.20 per mile.
