Freight Handlers work in a warehouse and loading dock environment with concrete floors and loading docks on both sides of the facility. Employees operate equipment such as propane-powered sit-down forklifts, pallet jacks, handheld scanners, and warehouse computer systems to move and track freight. The environment is well-lit but involves exposure to warehouse noise and fluctuating temperatures, which can drop to around 45°F depending on the season. The role requires regular movement and the ability to lift, carry, push, or pull up to 75 lbs, as well as a full range of motion necessary for warehouse tasks.
