We are seeking a dedicated Laborer to join our Waste Management team. This role plays a crucial part in our operations, ensuring effective waste collection and disposal while maintaining compliance with safety and environmental regulations. Responsibilities Collect and dispose of waste and recyclables from residential and commercial areas ensuring compliance with company policies and safety standards. Operate and maintain waste management equipment like garbage trucks, compactors, and balers. Assist in the sorting of recyclables from waste materials and ensure proper disposal according to environmental guidelines. Report any issues related to waste collection or recycling processes, including broken containers, illegal dumping, and other hazards. Participate in regular training sessions on waste management procedures, equipment operation, and safety protocols. Collaborate with other team members to improve waste collection and sorting processes. Required Skills Ability to perform physical tasks and lift heavy objects. Basic knowledge of waste management practices and recycling regulations. Good communication skills for interacting with the public and team members. Operational knowledge of waste disposal equipment.
