Job Description
Outside Boiler Clean-Up Express Employment Professionals is now hiring an Outside Boiler Clean-Up Technician for a local manufacturing client. Are you comfortable working outdoors in all weather conditions and looking for a physically active position? We are seeking a dependable and hardworking individual to join the boiler department team. This role is responsible for maintaining clean and safe working conditions around boiler operations and assisting technicians as needed. Pay $22.55 per hour Job Responsibilities Shovel and clear wood bark and shavings that have accumulated around outside conveyor areas into accessible locations for loader retrieval. Remove and clear plug-ups on outside conveyor belts. Pick up scrap iron, debris, and garbage and place materials in designated disposal containers. Use air hose nozzles to remove wood dust from equipment, rafters, beams, and other work areas. Clean up oil, water, and other spills to maintain a safe work environment. Shovel snow during winter weather conditions as needed. Sweep floors, walkways, and work areas using brooms and other cleaning tools. Assist Boiler Technicians with various tasks as needed. Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area daily. Perform additional duties as assigned. Qualifications Ability to work safely and independently with minimal supervision. Ability to follow directions and adapt to changing work demands. Must be comfortable working outdoors in all weather conditions, including heat, cold, rain, and snow. Ability to perform physical labor, including shoveling, sweeping, lifting, walking, and standing for extended periods. Strong work ethic and dependable attendance. Work Environment This position involves working both outdoors and inside boiler department buildings. Employees will regularly be exposed to weather elements, dust, wood shavings, and industrial work environments. Apply Today!
