Local Driver/Material Handler

We are looking to hire a dedicated and focused local truck driver to deliver goods on behalf of our company.

THIS IS A FULL-TIME POSITION.

The local truck driver's responsibilities include the following:

Local Truck Driver Responsibilities:

Load & unload truck with forklift and or electric pallet jack Coordinate with the shipping coordinator and or supervisor on material to bring from SP facility to Beulaville facility. Returning unused product back to SP. Support container arrivals from India facility Tag and FIFO new product Support warehouse activities as required Lift and carrying up to 50LBS Maintain truck (Using inspection sheet and training) 1-year verifiable driving BOX truck or equivalent. Pass random drug test and alcohol test. Ability to pass driver physical. Take quarterly driver test from Corporate transportation department. Clock daily into driver portal and or truck. Time must match daily employee clocking in/out time. Safely transport goods to and from specified locations according to company delivery schedules. Liaision with dispatch to communicate any traffic issues and delays. Properly secure goods to ensure that they are not damaged in transit. Obtain signatures from customers upon completion of each delivery to confirm receipt of goods. Notify management of any accidents, parking tickets, vehicle damage, and major maintenance issues. High school diploma or GED. Class A CDL a MUST Proven experience driving trucks. A clean driving record. Sound knowledge of road safety regulations. Effective communication skills. Punctual and reliable. Support other trucking needs to support company demands.
