This role is perfect for individuals eager to contribute to a variety of hands-on tasks in a fast-paced environment. As a Part Time Helper, you will assist with general cleaning, maintenance, and operational duties to ensure our facilities remain safe, clean, and well-organized. Your energetic approach and attention to safety will help support our team's success while providing excellent service and maintaining high standards of cleanliness and safety. Responsibilities Assist with industrial cleaning tasks, including sweeping, mopping, dusting, and trash removal using appropriate cleaning equipment. Use hand tools and pressure washing equipment to clean outdoor surfaces, walls, and equipment efficiently. Perform manual handling tasks such as lifting heavy objects safely and assisting with duct cleaning or floor buffing as needed. Follow safety protocols diligently by using Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) such as gloves, masks, and safety glasses during all tasks. Support with outdoor work activities including pressure washing, outdoor cleaning, and general site maintenance. Help with the use of fire extinguishers during safety drills or emergencies to ensure readiness. Maintain a clean and organized workspace by adhering to industrial cleaning standards and procedures. Requirements Ability to use ladders safely for reaching high areas during cleaning or maintenance tasks. Prior experience in commercial or industrial cleaning is preferred but not required; training will be provided. Familiarity with cleaning equipment such as pressure washers, floor buffers, and hand tools. Knowledge of safety procedures including proper use of PPE and manual handling techniques. Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and work outdoors in various weather conditions. Strong customer service skills with a positive attitude towards teamwork and assisting others. Willingness to follow detailed instructions for safety protocols and cleaning procedures.
