Responsibilities:
Drive trucks to and from delivery locations. Perform pre and post trip vehicle inspections. Disassemble and reassemble furniture and appliances. Load and unload items carefully, ensuring the protection of furniture and fragile goods. Efficiently pack boxes while securing delicate items. Unpack items and arrange them at their new location. Follow all state and national safety regulations and standards. Provide exceptional customer service, addressing any concerns or questions during the moving process. Adhere to all safety regulations and company policies, including proper vehicle maintenance and DOT compliance.
Requirements and Qualifications:
Physical ability to lift heavy objects and work in a fast-paced environment. Reliable and punctual with a strong work ethic. Positive, collaborative attitude and professional demeanor. Valid driver's license with a clean MVR. Demonstrates safe driving practices and ability to remain calm in stressful traffic situations. Reliable transportation to and from work. Prior moving experience (at least 1 year preferred). Excellent communication and customer service skills. Flexible availability, including nights, weekends, and holidays as needed.
