Job Description
We are looking to add a General Laborer to our team! The start time is 7a but end times can vary. The hours can range from 40-55 hours per week. Medical, dental, and vision insurance are offered. 401k match. Immediate need is in our Boxing department but employee may be required to work in any other department. Duties in the boxing department include but are not limited to: Use of a pallet jack to bring a rack of meat from the Packing department to the Boxing department Positioning the rack of meat near the beginning of the assembly line Placing the appropriate amount of packaged meat into a box, letting the box run through the assembly for taping Stacking boxes onto a pallet When a pallet is filled, it will be moved with a pallet jack. A new pallet must be pulled down from a pile and placed onto the ground As part of the interview process, you will be asked to lift a pallet from the pile and place it onto the floor to test physical capability. Each of these duties are typically one or two positions per person and duties are rotated amongst the team.
