Job Description
Holiday Season Delivery Driver & General Helper — Seasonal Position Dewey's Bakery is hiring a Delivery Driver/General Helper to join our team for the upcoming holiday season. This is a fast-paced, physical role for someone who doesn't mind early mornings, likes staying busy, and is ready to pitch in wherever needed during our busiest time of year. What you'll be doing: Your main responsibility will be running our morning fresh product route. Each morning you'll head to our main bakery on Stratford Road to pick up and load cake squares, pastries, and cake orders, then deliver them to our other two locations to make sure everything arrives fresh and on time. You'll also handle pickups and deliveries of packaged product as needed throughout the season. Beyond deliveries, we're looking for someone with a genuine willingness to work hard and help set up and tear down our temporary holiday pop-up stores — this is a key part of the role and involves physical labor like moving displays, fixtures, and product. No experience is necessary; we'll train you on everything from the delivery route to pop-up setup. What we're looking for: Reliable and punctual, with the ability to work early morning hours A valid driver's license and clean driving record Comfortable with physical work — lifting, loading, and hands-on setup/teardown A positive, hardworking attitude and willingness to help wherever needed No prior experience required Please note: This is a temporary, seasonal position for the holidays only, running from approximately October through January. We do not have year-round positions available once the season wraps up, so this role is best suited for someone specifically looking for holiday/seasonal work.
