Job Description
- Job Title: General Laborer (Seasonal Harvest)
- Job Description
- This seasonal general labor role supports harvest operations by maintaining a clean, safe grain facility and assisting with day-to-day activities. You will work primarily outdoors, perform general facility upkeep, and operate around grain handling equipment to help ensure efficient and safe harvest operations.
- Responsibilities
- + Shovel and scoop grain dust and debris throughout the facility to maintain a clean work area.
+ Maintain cleanliness and organization in assigned work areas across the grain facility.
+ Assist with general housekeeping and cleanup duties as needed.
+ Support loading and unloading truck operations, primarily using automated systems.
+ Follow all safety procedures, site rules, and operational guidelines at all times.
+ Assist with other harvest-related tasks and duties as directed.
+ Work cooperatively with team members to complete tasks efficiently and safely.
- Essential Skills
- + Ability to perform physically demanding work, including standing, walking, lifting, shoveling, and bending throughout the day.
+ Reliable and dependable attendance with a strong commitment to showing up on time and completing scheduled shifts.
+ Comfort working outdoors in various weather conditions, including heat, cold, wind, and precipitation.
+ Comfort working at heights and in tight or confined spaces when required.
+ Ability to work safely around industrial and grain handling equipment.
+ Willingness to work in dusty and dirty environments while maintaining safety and productivity.

- Work Environment
- This position is based primarily in an outdoor grain facility environment with exposure to heights, confined spaces, dust, dirt, and varying weather conditions.
The work is physically demanding and involves standing, walking, lifting, shoveling, and bending throughout the day. The current schedule runs Monday through Friday from 6:00 AM to 4:40 PM. During the harvest season, the schedule typically shifts to approximately 7:00 AM to 7:00 PM, six days per week, with overtime opportunities available during peak periods. You will work around industrial and grain handling equipment and are expected to follow all safety protocols and site procedures. Work attire should be practical and suitable for outdoor manual labor in a dusty, industrial setting.

- Pay and Benefits
- The pay range for this position is $22.
00 - $22.00/hr. Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your jobclassification and length of employment.
