Job Description

Resin Freight Loader/unloaderPosition SummaryWe are seeking a dependable and safety-focused employee for a Monday through Friday position supporting shipping, receiving, and production operations. This role is responsible for loading customer pickups, unloading incoming shipments and chemical deliveries, operating forklifts, and assisting in production activities as needed. The ideal candidate will maintain a strong commitment to safety, attendance, teamwork, and operational efficiency. ScheduleMonday through Friday (day shift)Hours may vary based on operational needs and customer pickupsOccasional overtime may be required Essential Duties & ResponsibilitiesLoad palletized products onto customer trucks and trailers for pickupVerify load accuracyUnload incoming shipments of supplies, materials, and chemical deliveriesOperate forklifts and other material handling equipment safely and efficientlyInspect forklifts and equipment daily and report maintenance or safety concernsMaintain organized shipping, receiving, and storage areasAssist with inventory handling and material movement throughout the facilityFollow all company safety policies, procedures, and PPE requirementsMeet company attendance and punctuality expectationsAssist in production operations and plant activities as neededWork closely with supervisors and team members to support daily operational goalsPerform general housekeeping and maintain a clean work environmentComplete required documentation and shipping/receiving records accurately QualificationsPrevious forklift experience preferredAbility to safely handle and move palletized materials and chemical shipmentsAbility to work in a fast-paced industrial or manufacturing environmentStrong attention to safety and detailDependable attendance and punctuality requiredAbility to work independently and as part of a teamBasic communication and problem-solving skillsAbility to operate a computer or iPad for order tracking, emails, etc.

Physical RequirementsAbility to lift, push, pull, and move materials regularlyAbility to stand, walk, bend, climb, and work in varying weather and plant conditionsAbility to safely operate industrial equipment for extended periodsMust be able to wear required PPESafety RequirementsMust comply with all company safety policies and proceduresMust safely operate forklifts and material handling equipmentMust follow all procedures related to chemical handling and deliveriesMust immediately report unsafe conditions, incidents, or equipment concernsPreferred ExperienceManufacturing, warehouse, shipping/receiving, or industrial experienceForklift certification or prior forklift operation experienceExperience working around chemical deliveries or industrial materials preferred
